Amazing! 10*'s I had routine service in the morning, drove off and found myself on the freeway while the engine temperature began to rise from 200 to 230 degrees and climbing. I immediately pulled over & called Duayne in the service department for help. He instructed me on what to do then to return to Merit as soon as possible. Just knowing there was someone there to help, kept me pretty collected (maybe not calm; but collected). I had never experienced anything like this & had no idea what to expect when the engine blew. Would it be a NASCAR event where there's condensation all over the windshield? or would I be able to drive the vehicle for a short time before it just died on the side of the road? Somehow after the engine 'blew' my trusty Tahoe continued to idle enough for me to coast down the off ramp & into Merit's service department where Duayne & staff were waiting for my arrival. We immediately reviewed what happened then I went & had a seat for a few minutes. Within 10 minutes I was being shuttled home by the Service department & believe it or not, my truck was repaired and waiting for my arrival that evening (before 7 p.m.) WOW! A day I will never forget. Not the events, the People or the expedited care & service I received from Merit Chev's Service department. Wow! Wow! Wow! You guys' Rock! Thank you So Much!
